The deadline to meet the updated federal underground storage tank regulations was Oct. 13, 2018. However, states with State Program Approval have the authority to set their own regulations, so their deadlines may be different.
Additionally, several states recently released new information regarding their UST regulations. Many additional states have completed updates to their regulations, including – but not limited to – Arkansas, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Vermont, Washington and Wyoming.
